Jeff says that this is referring to the title of the Favorite Story of All Time of Calvin, in Calvin and Hobbes. He says also that we never see the book in the series, but that it is mentioned a few times. I should go read our huge box of C&H (and I don't mean sugar), and prove to myself that he is correct.
Better yet, he knew it right away, when I just asked him if it meant anything to him. Drat, he is more versed in C&H than I.
Yay, somebody recognized! That makes me happy. ;o) I adore C&H and was quite stricken when Watterson stopped drawing them. But I do enjoy picking up the books and re-reading old favorites.
"Drat" is a good exclamation. I think I need to start using that one. ;o)
I am a German-American cultural mutt; I love my family and my friends; I believe that Jesus sacrificed himself for the eternal freedom of humanity; I am passionate about my faith, my husband, and my creativity; and I want to suck the marrow out of life. That pretty much sums it up. Also, I like chocolate and coffee.
